OffSite Care Sponsored Telemedicine Residency Program
OffSite Care, Inc. is proud to present the following telemedicine focused residency program.

Elective Rotation for 2-4 weeks
The Santa Rosa Family Practice Residency Program affiliated with UCSF is based at the Sutter
Medical Center of Santa Rosa, the Kaiser Permanente Hospital of Santa Rosa and the Santa Rosa
Memorial Hospital. The 36 Residents in this 3 year Residency Program may elect to spend
2-4 weeks each year in Rural Medicine in a Rural Hospital provided with Robotic
Telemedicine Services by OffSiteCare, Inc.
- ICU Rural Teaching Coordinator- James K. Gude, MD, Clinical Professor of Medicine
and of Family and Community Medicine, UCSF
- OffSiteCare, Inc. provides Robotic Consultative Services to Rural Hospitals with
24/7 Vascular Neurology for Acute Strokes, Intensivist, Infectious Diseases
and Pediatric Critical Care Consultants.

Currently, 4 hospitals are involved:
- Palm Drive Hospital, Sebastopol, CA
- Healdsburg District Hospital, Healdsburg, CA
- Howard Memorial Hospital, Willits, CA
- Ukiah Valley Medical Center, Ukiah, CA
Hospital Site Expansions for the Residency Program
As OffSiteCare expands this year, so will the experiences of the Residents. Plans
are to expand to the following hospitals:
- Mendocino Coast Hospital, Fort Bragg, CA
- Sonoma Valley Hospital, Sonoma, CA
Robotic Telemetry & Residency Program
The Residents will learn Robotic Telemedicine in depth. Robotic Telemetry will be used for:
- AM Attending Rounds
- Patient Presentations to an Attending MD
- Specialty Consultations
- Teaching Conferences
Residency Program Teacher Designations & Career Advancement
The Residents will learn Robotic Telemedicine in depth. Robotic Telemetry will be used for:
- Local MDs will be designated as teachers & paid for Resident teaching and support.
- They will be given either Instructor or higher position at UCSF and can work up the academic ladder as possible.
