Implementation of Robotic and Portal-based Telemedicine Services
at Six Rural Hospitals and two Skilled Nursing Facilities in Northern California.

In partnership with Palm Drive Hospital, OffSiteCare is pleased to present a two-day educational program on robotic telemedicine for clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. The program is offered semi-annually, in January and June, and provides comprehensive training on extending consultative critical care, stroke intervention, infectious disease control, and other specialty medicine services to rural ICUs, ERs and wards. Classes cover a broad range of subjects, and include hands-on training for operating the InTouch RP-7 robot.

Tuition:

$300 per person. Please note: CME credit is available for RNs.

  • Medical Education programs, including weekly one-hour CME/CE-Accredited Grand Rounds presentations
  • Per-incident ICU consultations from a high-acuity national intensivist call panel
  • Nephrology consultations and care, including dialysis over the Internet
  • Trauma Center applications for telemedicine
  • Consultative care via telemedicine in SNFs, schools, prisons, and other facilities
  • International telemedicine programs for underserved areas worldwide
  • Hands-on training on driving and operating the medical robot in the ICU, ER, and Medical Ward
